Why? One, because we don’t have to travel very far and two, because there is something so inviting about it. A bride and groom standing in the middle of an open field…there is so much simplicity to it, but still so much depth. We are thankful to call the Hill Country home. We get to report to work almost every Saturday right in the heart and very best part of Texas.
So now we bring you Catherine and Eric’s wedding at the Don Strange Ranch. The couple actually lives in the DC area and a lot of there family flew in from the East coast to help them celebrate. This wedding was filled with so much love, laughter and good ole’ Texas fun. It was actually our first time to shoot out there and we cannot wait to go back. Can we just say that Hotel Havana is the ultimate hotel for getting ready for a wedding. The style is perfect. The lighting is to die for. The furniture is way cool. It is perfect, perfect, perfect here!! We absolutely cannot wait to be back there shooting.

Catie and Strother, both students at Texas A&M are the most precious people. They are unbelievably sweet and so in love. We had a blast getting to know them during their engagement photos and then again at their fabulous wedding. The rest of the photos, at the Southwest School of Art and Craft will be up in a few days.
